Travelling Britain: From City Vibes to Countryside Magic
Exploring the UK has always been a dream of mine, and recently, I finally could turn that into reality. What fascinated me wasn’t just the landmarks, but the massive transformation the country is currently going through. Of course, that didn't stop me from having a great time and lots of fun.

Exploring the UK has always been a dream of mine, and recently, I finally could turn that into reality. What fascinated me wasn’t just the landmarks, but the massive transformation the country is currently going through. Of course, that didn't stop me from having a great time and lots of fun.
One of the things that impressed me most was how the UK’s countryside still holds onto its rich traditions. I stumbled across hidden gems and found myself falling hard for the distinct vibe of cities like Bristol, Liverpool, and York — each with their own unique energy.

From hiking in the charming Cotswolds to conquering Scafell Pike in the Lake District, the adventure was nothing short of unforgettable. Some of the places and walks from my bucket list I really would like to recommend to you:
-
Spend some time at Blackwell's of Oxford, renowned as the largest academic and specialist bookseller in the UK. Take your time exploring the different sections and immerse yourself in Oxford's rich literary tradition.
-
Relish the best fish and chips in Bristol while enjoying a picturesque waterfront view of the harbour at Salt and Malt, Bristol.
-
Embark on a scenic hike by walking the Haystacks in the Lake District. This trail is famed for its rugged beauty, but be sure to use a navigation app as there are no trail markers.
-
Play a round of golf at the beautiful Seascale Golf Club. This links course, with its sweeping views of the Irish Sea, offers unique challenges thanks to the coastal winds and the terrain, making it a must-play destination.
-
Experience British hospitality at Skiddaw Croft B&B, where you’ll be treated with the best full English breakfast around. With locally sourced ingredients, this B&B offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for starting your day in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District.
-
And when you are visiting York, don't forget sampling some of the finest British cheeses. Visit The Cheese Lover, where you can taste an array of locally made cheeses in a charming courtyard.
